TOM M-FING WAITS

The truth comes when you can see that your self-image is nothing more that a convenient reference point and nothing more, and that you yourself do not exist

I just had to share the news, I know there are a few people here who will appreciate this.
Tom Waits is going on tour, a very short tour. The Glitter and Doom Tour will make a stop right here in f-ing Columbus, Ohio at the Ohio Theater. Ohio....Columbus....Tom Waits.
Columbus is the only midwest city he'll be hitting do the the fact his tour route is determined by the constellation Hydra and C-Bus happens to top out the constellation.
I was ready at 10:00 to get tickets, figuring they would sell out quick like, did they I don't know yet, but just seconds into the start of the sale I was back in the mezzonine. Oh, yes, brothers, sisters, , friends, country men, and all others, my wife and I got tickets to see Tom Waits. I had an adrenalin rush buying the tix, isn't that sad? She's geeked, I'm geeked.
If anyone else got tix congrats, see youn there.

Peep the link I have in my journal. I think the tour starts in Phoenix.
Ohio is the only state above the Mason-Dixon Line. I'm sure that the shows will sell out, so check soon. :peace:

yeah. i checked it out as soon as i read your journal. both phx shows were sold out. i was pretty disappointed
