What, the hell? It's been 5 months since I've made an entry and probably just as long since I've posted any new photography. This past year hasn't been one of my most creative, photography wise. It's not that I haven't been taking pictures, it's that most of them have been less arty and more for documenting...maybe some of them are worth posting here, I'll have to go through some of them again, and take another look.
It was our first full year back in Columbus, and we are still happy that we made the move back to Ohio. We miss many things from out in Utah, family being at the top of the list. Other things we miss...such as our proximity to Zion NP, some killer mountain biking, snowboarding at Brian Head, and...well..the weather. But, with those good things, saving our sanity was the biggest deal, so we are back home in Columbus...and we love it. We're still attempting to sell our house in Utah, and we will this year. We have anew realtor, and she seems more on her game than the last.
I'm aiming to shoot more photos this year, as well as attend to some other creative outlets. Work is still busy and work on our house here in Columbus continues, the basement is almost finished and will soon be ready for a living space. Then it's on to tearing up the kitchen...lots to do.
I've continued commuting by bike to work, despite the cold weather, though I don't do it everyday, I do get it done at least 2-3 days, but some days, riding 9.8 miles in 20 degree weather is tough and really wears on my body...but I'll be damn ready for warmer weather though.
I do want all of those that are on my watch list that I do check in from time to time and peep out what you've all been up to and shooting, so despite my lack of activity, I do keep up with all of you.
